Understanding gift card quotes in Nigeria

GiftRate NG helps customers in Nigeria check estimated gift card payouts in Naira before requesting card review. A calculator result is an estimate, not confirmation that a card will be accepted or a guaranteed payment.

What details identify the right quote?

Start with the card brand, issuing region, face-value currency and remaining balance. Cards from different regions or with different restrictions need separate eligibility checks. A brand appearing on the website does not mean every version of that card is accepted.

How does the calculator work?

Estimated Naira payout = amount entered in USD × the published rate for the selected card and region. For example, a hypothetical ₦1,000 rate and USD 100 input produce a ₦100,000 estimate. This example is not a current quote.

The published rate table and calculator read the same GiftRate NG rate data. These are site estimates, not issuer prices or independent market averages, and they may change.

Can I enter a GBP, EUR or CAD card balance?

The current calculator uses USD input for every region. Selecting a UK, European or Canadian region does not convert currencies. Ask support to confirm the correct currency basis and amount before using an estimate for a card denominated in another currency.

What needs confirmation before proceeding?

1. Whether the specific card and balance are eligible.
2. What purchase evidence and review details are required.
3. The final Naira payout and any deductions.
4. The payment arrangements after successful review.

Start with card type, region, amount and currency. Ask about review requirements before sharing redemption details. Bank PINs, account passwords and login codes are not needed.
